Vincent Mason: I have countless memories from the early 80's while attending Glenmuir Prep. That School on the hill that was so conspicuous. I remember sitting on the hill sides during recess and lunch times watching the older students of Glenmuir High prepare for Sports Day. I remember the class with which the teachers, students and parents conducted themselves; the seemingly boundless and flawless school yard we explored during our breaks. I remember how privileged some of us were to remain at Mrs. Brammer's home until our parents picked us up after school. I remember competing at the national stadium for Glenmuir ( shuttle relay. lol). I remember a storm that left the most remarkable bodies of water all around the surrounding areas and interesting types of fish showcasing themselves in the canals. I remember the levy's, Peter Rossi, Gregory Boucher and Kevin Chin; Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Brammer ( the pretties flower for a Principal). I remember never studying for my common entrance and passing it anyway ( best teaching ever). And I remember getting in trouble a few times well. Who can ever forget such a place once he's climbed that hill and entered its doors. I too live in Toronto. Vincent Mason.

Ok, The Central High School, motto Knowledge is Power, am a proud past student of this institution. This school has nurtured me to be I am today. Back then persons would say no to this school, however under the guidance of one such principal Mr. Harrison this school today ,has become the school to be. A dynamic school structure which is continuing to produce excellent cxc passes ,and in my opinion the face of the parish of Claredon for six form ,its has one of the biggest (if not the largest) and the most diverse six form programme, I have been there and am currently studding at the university of technology Jamaica you can make it too, keep making me proud Central High.
